As we are busy preparing to send our children back to school it’s also time to prep ourselves with a school lunch plan. As our summer slowly comes to a close, the Back to School madness begins. Shopping for school supplies, school clothes, shoes, meet the teacher, open houses, after school activities……. and the list goes on. As if there is not enough to do, we are also faced with the inevitable task of actually having to feed our children while they are at school. Does it ever end??
If you haven’t noticed by now, I have a small obsession with vinegar. I use it in the kitchen, in the laundry room and even to mop my floors. Did I mention I also use it to get rid of ants? I rarely leave the store without a gallon of white distilled vinegar in hand. Really, what’s not to love – it’s inexpensive, widely available and it works.
Do you wash your fruits and vegetables before you eat them? In our home many of our fruits and veggies come from sources other than the grocery store such as the farmer’s market and the Matthew’s Hope chemical-free garden, located in Winter Garden.
