Caprese Skewers

Recipe Adapted by Jenna Kanuck from The Essential Finger Food Cookbook


  • 40 grape tomatoes
  • 20 small fresh mozzarella balls
  • 40 small fresh basil leaves
  • 40 toothpicks


  1. Halve the tomatoes and the mozzarella.
  2. On each toothpick, skewer half a tomato followed by half of a mozzarella ball wrapped in a basil leaf.
  3. Finish with the other half of the tomato.
  4. Can be served immediately or chilled for up to 8 hours.
