Coconut oil can be a one ingredient and cost effective solution to your skincare needs. Using coconut oil for your skincare needs is much safer and more cost-effective than the pricey store-bought moisturizers available. Always buy virgin unrefined coconut oil to ensure you are receiving the highest quality of oil for your skin. Refined oils have been bleached and deodorized and are of a lower quality. Here are a few ways to take in the benefits of coconut oil in your self-care routine:
- Apply directly to the skin after washing face morning and night. A little goes a long way.
- Apply to the ends of hair and leave in as a repair treatment and to de-frizz
